Outreach Efforts in the Landes Research Group at Rice University
We love science. As scientists, it is important that we take the research in our lab and bring those results to the public. We host tours of the lab and work closely with local schools to bring science into the classroom in hopes of inspiring a new generation of successful researchers.
Residents of Houston should seek out the many open house opportunities occurring at Rice throughout the year. These include the Sally Ride Science Festival (semesterly), Scouts n' Science (semesterly), and the Research Experience for Teachers at Rice (yearly).
